mail and packages

05.04.2010

My mailing address is
Yue Ke, Peace Corps Volunteer (or you can try Mwalimu Yue Ke)
PO Box 34
Mpwapwa, Dodoma
Tanzania

Some people have asked about packages… here’s some ideas for what to include if you’re feeling like prepping one:

Saran wrap
Ziploc bags
Any American/Chinese spice mixes
Cake mix (yes I bake…)
Powdered drink mix (gatorade, iced tea, kool-aid, etc)
Hard candies (life savers, jolly ranchers, etc)
Ball point pens (Bic or something similar, red/black/blue ink preferably)
Cinnamon flavoured chewing gum
CD of MP3s of American (or classical) music – just not rap, hip hop or r&b
CD of episodes of tv shows (Eureka/Dr Who/boy meets world/House/Scrubs/simpsons/whatever)

As far as what not to include, just keep in mind that mail takes anywhere from 1 month to never to arrive.

Yes that was a cop out post. Yes, I’ll write up a real post on what I’ve been up to for the last month sometime “soon.”

Oh, and my other site is up to date (for now). Still haven’t completely decided whether or not to keep going with this blog AND that one, or just use that as a backup, or as a more private blog since it’s not on PCJ’s tracking list. meh.
